Luanda International Christian Fellowship Church

Vicki and I attended church services this morning at the Luanda International Christian Fellowship Church in Luanda located on the corner of Rua Nicolau Spencer and Luther King.  This was our second visit to the church where english language services are held every Sunday at 7:45 to 9:20.  This church is part of the Third Baptist Church of Luanda. Portuguese language services follow at 10:20 and 12:20.  It is wonderful to be able to understand and to sing and praise God together with others.  One lady even remembered Vicki's name from last week.  It is a joy to sing both contemporary church music and from a older hymnal books that have been inheriated from the First Baptist Church of Portland, Texas, USA.

  1. Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

This is an announcement of a Worldwide Prayer Event. There is no church sponsor. It is simply a call to the Body of Christ to join together as one across the world. No recognition will be given to anyone except God the Father. Please join us on November 22, 2013 with whatever time you have to pray, and wherever your altar may be. If you will help us to spread the word however the Father may lead you, it is appreciated. A Facebook page, Worldwide Prayer Event, has been created for anyone who is led to pray online that day. Like and comment to stand in agreement and show support. Our individual prayers cover a few. Our overlapping prayers will blanket the world. Our rain of prayer will bring harvest.
God's love and blessings to all in Jesus’ name. Amen

    Holy One

Almighty Father God. Sweetest Lord. All praise to Jesus, our King, our Rock, our Salvation. We come humbly before Your throne of Grace. Our hearts cry with distress for our world, our nation, our cities, our friends and families, ourselves. Such a crucial time. Precious Lord we need You. Father, in Jesus name, quicken every spirit whose eye meets this message, with deep desire to participate in this worldwide prayer event. Whatever time we have. Wherever we may be. Whatever our needs. Let us lift our voices to You, as one. You say, where two or three are gathered in Your name, there You will be also. Bring us together, Father, in the name of Jesus. Fill us with Your compassion, Your love, Your will. Let Your Kingdom reign supreme. All is for You Holy One. All for Your Majesty.

    In Jesus’ Mighty name.

    Amen
